A day-long workshop of rustic design and building fun will be offered during the opening festivities
for Wildwood Park’s Art In The Wild 2014.
Daniel Mack will guide participants through the processes of designing and building a "trophy" chair with branches, saplings and other natural materials. He will introduce ways of thinking about designs which honor both the artists and materials. He teaches a variety of techniques for joining natural materials together with simple tools. This is a workshop for both the playful and the practical, young and old.
Dan Mack is an artist, teacher and author of numerous books on rustic topics and traditions.
Fee: $50 per person
